Available PetsThe most important step of the adoption process is finding the perfect pet for you. Don't have time to get to the shelter? Once you've done your research and know what type of pet you want, you can browse our available pets online. If you have a question about a specific animal, please call our operators at (719) 473-1741, ext. 0. We cannot respond immediately to email inquiries. The online database is updated hourly, however, please be aware that adoption applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and you may not place a hold on an animal by phone. You may see the pet you want but arrive at the shelter after someone else has adopted it. Don't despair!
