ADOPTED AT LAST! Cupid is a four year old, neutered male Alaskan Husky mix.  He was rescued from Park County several months ago along with about 100 other dogs.  Since Cupid has been chained outdoors his entire life, he will need a special kind of home with people who have time and patience.

It is critical for him to be adopted by people who have experience rehabilitating dogs and the willingness to invest time and resources.  To help Cupid learn to be a family pet, professional training may be necessary.  This agile dog can jump very high so he needs a fence over six feet, and he must be supervised when inside the house.  He would do best in a crate when left at home alone.  Because he is so shy and timid, he spent the last few months living with a foster family.  They helped him to build confidence and feel more comfortable around people, but he will need continued socialization and training.

His adoption fee has been reduced to just $53 and includes vouchers for a vet exam, vaccinations, one year license, and a month of pet health insurance.  If you can offer Cupid what he needs, please adopt him today!
